Just received my mascara and used for the first time, it’s great, when it on it’s soft ,doesn’t make your eyelashes hard? so natural if you touch them feels like you have not got anything on them, which is a bonus. I think I have thrown away so many expensive different makes of mascara buying them because it says “doesn’t smudge no clumps “ what a load of codswollup , but this one GREAT, it doesn’t smudge and guess what no clumps. I’m so happy that I found this mascara. It does magic. It goes smoothly on the lashes to give perfect length. Not just that. As a chef I’ve been looking for a real waterproof mascara. And I tried brand names. What surprised me is that after couple of hours in the kitchen, I looked like a panda. With big black smudges. But this mascara is easy to apply, easy to remove with a delightful length and no smudges after 14 hours shift. Thank a lot. I’m in love with this mascara. I would definitely recommend it

Finally I have found a great mascara. This is the first mascara I have bought that doesn't smudge and leave me with racoon eyes by the end of the day. It does make my lashes look longer. I am using the serum but it is too early to tell if it is making a difference.

I purchased the items for my 11-year-old daughter who is dying to wear make up. She’s extremely long eyelashes and has what I consider and call natural beauty. Therefore I tell her often that make up is not needed. It makes her feel beautiful it gives her eyelashes a nice shine. Illuminating their length and provide vibrant color. She is satisfied and the mascara does not impact her allergies or irritate her eyes.

Everything about this mascara is perfect. I’ve gone back-and-forth from department store brands and this baby my entire life and I always come back for her. Reading prior reviews I have no issues with the dryness of my mascara it was perfect and I’m still using it daily. No issues very happy came in a timely manner. Normally when I go to target it’s a hit or miss with a dry, flakey mascara

Same color, separating brush, non clumpy great mascara they've always had! Simply the best- dollar for dollar.

The mascara is nice because its clear and perfect for going to all natural look. Although I've curled my lashes and then put the mascara on that you can't really tell a difference to as if I put the mascara on or not. I did notice that one time I put the mascara on and I put on too much that my lashes clumped together and I was like "Woah". I did like it but I was going somewhere that the look wasn't suitable for. So I would have to say you just have to play around with the mascara and see how much you want to apply.

I like the easiness of taking off . It’s a lil understated but been using for years

I have minuscule eyelashes, I mean 1/8”, and this is the first mascara that lengthens and plumps them up without clumping or going on to thick.. my daughter told me about as she has similar lashes..

Is simple: Plain transparent gel that will avoid black shadows caused by black mascara, and will make your lashes look as if you just showered. I used it on my eyebrows and they stay neat the whole day.PS: Ill change the brush, bc it doesn't make the lashes longer.

This mascara is actually my eyebrow “sealer.” I can’t really speak to what it might do for my lashes, but it does help my eyebrows remain apparent.I have extremely light, thin eyebrows. I was forever unwittingly rubbing off the eyebrow powder/pencil during the day before I started sealing my “artwork” with this mascara. The area above my eyes often looked like a Picasso piece. Now, I look less like an evolving Martian and more like an inhabitant of this planet.

I am very careful to use my mascara for 3 months maybe 4 at the most and then toss. I have used all the high end mascara and to be honest this does a great job. It is also at a price point I don't feel guilty throwing it away so often. Thumbs up

Love this, it’s the best. My eyelashes are naturally really long and regular mascara makes my eyelashes look really long (not in a good way). I also wear glasses, so regular mascara makes my eyelashes rub against the lenses and makes it uncomfortable. Anyway, this stuff is the best out of all the clear mascaras I have tried. I like how the bristles on the brush are shorter and gel-like rather than the regular kind. I use this for my eyelashes and eyebrows on a daily basis. It accompanies a natural makeup look very well.

Easily Buildable. Been using this for 40 years. Easily washes off, as it is not waterproof-but does come in a newer waterproof formula.Also, comes in several formulas, with several different brushes. The one I use is the Original Formula with the Largest Bristle Brush.Good Stuff!

I have thick eyebrows and use this product almost on the daily. I also use this on my eyelashes, wait for them to get tacky, and then curl them for a curly natural look. This lasts pretty much all day and I would highly recommend. This product doesn't keep my eyebrows in place as well but gives them a groomed look for a while but if I touch them or put a sweatshirt on they'll get messed up.. Would still recommend 9/10

I’ve tried many mascaras, some very expensive and promising great lashes. The promise never lives up to the price. I always find myself going back to this tried and true mascara. I haven’t found anything I like better then this one.

I learned about this product years ago and still use it after applying eyebrow pencil it helps to keep hairs in place on your brows. Have not used it as mascara but works great on my eyebrows. Not sticky and not stiff but keeps unruly hairs in place.

I feel like this mascara is average, which for the price I can’t really complain about! It tends to drop/splatter little flakes when I put it on, especially if I drag the brush along the opening to get off extra mascara clumps. It’s almost a little too liquidy. It stays on decently, but tends to kind of give that spider lashes look which I don’t like. Nice black color.

This has been my favorite mascara for a long time, I have tried others, but for the price I always come back to this.

REally like the plastic brush, doesn't clump. I've used this for a long time, sometimes this brush style is hard to find at Walgreens and Walmart, so that's why I buy it here. You'll like it. Enhances your lashes and makes them stand out.

This product is an amazing multitasker! I use it as a natural-looking mascara that won't upstage my black winged liner, to groom my eyebrows, and now - to set my eyeliner in place! Lately, I've been having major problems with it smearing as the day goes on. Simply dip a cotton swab in to the mascara tube (it fits!) and dot the product all over your eyeliner. It works miracles! I'm buying this stuff in bulk! :D

As I gave myself a 30 day be positive challenge here is my positive challenge . This works great as a primer on eyelashes. After letting it dry I applied regular black mascara. It made my long but very light colored eyelashes look thick and full.

My lashes are pretty measly so I got this product for days when I couldn’t use regular mascara (beach days, etc.) I thought that since my lashes are already black that this would work pretty well, but turns out I very much underestimated the volume that traditional mascara adds to my poor lashes hahahaha. I’d say this product does add some definition, and makes it so all of your lashes are facing the right way. I’ve added photos so you guys can get an idea of what I mean. Overall I think I’ll continue to use it on days where I would’ve used nothing prior, but it definitely doesn’t add much to already small or thin lashes. Way cheaper than getting extensions or lash perms though.

I'm an honest guy. I use mascara to cover up my non-symmetrical grey hair in my beard. I'll keep on until I go completely grey. Anyway...I was using e.l.f. and I was getting clumpy action and smudge action. This is the exact opposite. Good stuff and great price. I think next time I'll try a dark brown for this is a tad dark even though I have black hair on my beard.

I ordered the Washable Blackest Black mascara. I've tried a lot of brands over the years and I always come back to this one. It doesn't irritate my eyes, easy to wash off, and goes on cleanly with great coverage and eyelash separation. It's easy to use and the brush is smaller than some of the huge volume enhancing mascaras, which actually makes it easier for me to get the lashes in the corners of my eyes and get good coverage overall.

Just get it on to where you like it, but don't keep going over and over it. Apply a light coat when you begin applying makeup; then afterwards apply final coat if needed. Have qtips and coconut oil ready if you smudge.

Love this product. I purchased the clear mascara because I've been wanting a more natural makeup look. I first tried it on my eyelashes and it just wasn't for me since I have brownish/blonde eyelashes and it was barely noticeable. It made me look like I'd just taken a shower.I would recommend it to those with darker or longer eyelashes. HOWEVER, I decided to use it on my brows because I also wanted a sort of dupe for Boy Brow by Glossier (clear). It tames my brows and I use it either without makeup or after I've already applied brow gel. This may be weird but I also use this for taming my baby hairs since I have very short hair and it's hard to style it. I absolutely love this product and will purchase again if needed :)

This was perfect fore me. I already have thick lashes and black mascara just makes me look scary. These give me length and highlight my volume. It wipes clear so I don’t worry about black smudges around my eyes. I bought 3. Gonna have to buy another one because my sister loves it too.Pro tip from my sister: she uses it to lay down her eye brows

I love that this mascara is clear. I need something to just give my lashes a bit of lift so you can see I have lashes and this does the trick. It will NOT give you dramatic looking lashes but that isn't what I wanted anyway. I hate black and brown mascara for the residue it leaves and it never seems to remove easily. Being clear this leaves no residue and if it doesn't all wash off I can't even tell! Also black/brown mascara typically makes my eyes itch and this does not.

I'm an older woman who never wore much eye make-up. I used to wear contact lenses and I don't like getting anything in my eyes. So now II use this Great Lash colorless mascara after I curl my eyelashes. I put it on in layers because it doesn't extend my lashes like regular mascara. It simply enhances them a little. And after it dries I add a little cream eye shadow.

I have used this product for about 10 years to smooth and hold down my brow hairs and it works great. Just don't goop too much on: first of all, it's not necessary to use a lot, just keep brushing through the hairs to get them all wet and smooth; secondly, if you have too much on and rub your brows, it will roll into little pieces and you will look like you have brow dandruff.

I love this mascara. I like to have a more natural look so it’s perfect for me. It highlights my eyelashes without having any color on them. I do find I have to put 3 coats on before I’m happy with it, but generally put 2 of the colored mascara anyway. I ordered online because I couldn’t find clear mascara in the store but since then have discovered this same brand on the bottom shelf of the rack and I do mean the bottom where you wouldn’t normally look. Will still by online because of the ease though. Definitely would recommend if you like a more natural look.

I got this specifically to have my eyelashes look like they naturally curl. I love that it doesn't change the shade of my eyelashes color and looks like I get my lashes professionally done. I just use a curler to curl them after the mascara (clear gel) apply a little heat to the eyelashe curling iron and hold it and count to 10 your lashes will be amazing.

I've tried many many mascara brands, but I always return to this Cover Girl Original!I have purchased the expensive brands like Lancome to LOreal and all in-between and even more expensivebrands. The old favorite original Cover Girl brand is the best for not clumping and not smudging. It makes your lashes look good without a lot of fuss!

I've used almost ALL of the high-end, expensive mascaras, and every time, bar none, I come back to this one.... I'll never stop using it. I hope they NEVER change the formula!! When you apply apply it, it holds the lashes, even after you've curled them.. best.ever.

I get this brand all the time because it creates enormous, dark lashes. It also comes off easy without taking half your lashes with it. Lastly, it's very inexpensive for the quality.Cons: technique in application. Don't apply too close to your lid because if you get this in your eye, it feels like battery acid. Not made for rain or cryers, so avoid this one if your eyes might get wet.

If you’re going to purchase this mascara , purchase the Blackest Black version. This is the best “cheap” mascara you can buy. It’s definitely a classic mascara. I also bought the waterproof but be forewarned that it is difficultto remove and it’s not as black as the Blackest black. I had to deduct one star because application can be quite messy. If you’re trying to build it up, it can transfer to your eyelids like crazy. I always clean it up after it dries a little bit with a Qtip. This is definitely a nice product !!!

I use this for my eyebrows once I fill them in. It holds them in place all day without letting one hair fall out of place. It dries quickly and has a matte finish. At first your eyebrows will be shiny but they will look natural once the product dries.I did try this on my eyelashes and it made me look like I had just finished crying. Wouldn’t recommend this for your lashes.

Reading some of the other reviews I was a little nervous ordering this product but it is here and so far it's WONDERFUL! I had planned on using it for my lashes and brows but a lot of reviews said that it was flakey, I've been wearing it all day and it is FLAWLESS!!!! I love this because it gives a slight look of mascara without the worry of running. When I put it on my brows it was a little...wet but I blotted it with a tissue and it has done wonders! recommend this for girls 12-25. When I am at school we can't wear makeup but this gives me control of my unruly brows and lashes

For some reason mine came with the applicator brush tucked over so when I first opened it I had a hard time trying to take it out. I'm not sure if this is normal or not but I had never encountered something like that. I like it overall but the brush part on the wand is wonky on mine because it was folded over. I use it to seal my mascara after I apply it. I don't like water proof mascaras because they are hard to remove and I end up losing lashes when I try to take it off. This stuff seals it so it doesn't smear on normal days but it comes off pretty easy.

I’ve used the Great Lash mascara for years. The ‘Lots of Lashes’ version is an amazing step up! My lashes are thicker, longer and separate beautifully. I recommend this product to everyone who wants beautiful, affordable lashes!

I have switched to this from another waterproof mascara. Little things matter... Comfort of the brush handle, absolutely SAME amount of product each time, no smudging your eyelid by mistake, fast drying, etc. Purchased these because local WMart had 2 rows but NO waterproof. I wear contacts, and "eye flush / rinse" won't budge it. Hint: wait 2 minutes & THEN use your eyelash curler. BOOM, perfect and no product comes off. It's awesome.

I have used this for YEARS on my lower lashes instead of black mascara. I am fortunate enough to already have black lashes, so this works perfect. Adds a little pop without having to worry about any smudging or flaking if I happen to rub under my eyes.Any mascara that gets on my lower lashes, along with the little bit of shadow I use as a liner will distribute along my lashes with the clear mascara as well. It also works great as a brow gel if you don’t need a super hold, but just some light taming.

I use this mascara for utilitarian purposes. It adds almost nothing to the length of your eyelashes, but if you wait a minute and reapply you can get a little. Instead, I use it because my eyelashes point in odd directions and get tangled in each other, and under my eyelids. This helps prevent that, at least a bit.It also helps if you got some makeup or sunscreen in your lashes. You can use your fingers to get most of it out, and this can help correct it more. It makes your lashes a tad bit darker, because it wets them. I have light skin and light brown lashes, and it darkens just enough to correct the lashes.

This clear mascara is nice but not great. It goes on much thicker than other clear mascaras that I have used in the past and this can sometimes cause globs to form at the end of my lashes. Maybe because the packaging is clear but this tube is not ideal. I am about halfway through the tube and I am having a hard time getting the mascara that is settled in the bottom half of the tube. I have tried keeping the tube upside down overnight and on it's side but still having troubles getting that rest of the product out. Maybe this happens with all mascaras but we never know since the tube is normally a solid color instead of being clear. Overall it is a good product but there are definitely better ones out there.

This mascara is great for when you just want a natural look on your lashes or need to shape and control unruly brows. It does not enough hold to brush brow hairs up to make “boy brows” but it will help to reshape brows if you need move some hairs around to cover more sparse areas. My only complaint is the brush on the mascara wand is very small but the hole is not equally small so it’s difficult to remove excess mascara when you pull the wand out of the container. What comes out, even when you scrap the wand along one side as you pull it out, it too much for me to use.

I don't use this so much as a mascara as I do keeping my brows in place. Gives them a slightly darker appearance and keeps the hairs in place.

I am Asian and have super straight lashes. If you lightly brush off the excess and let the mascara dry a little, you can get a curl that lasts all day. The timing is tricky but it's SO worth it on days when I don't want to deal with washing off black mascara (especially when it wants to get smudged up into the bags under my eyes).I noticed that if I get any eyeliner or colored mascara onto the applicator and into the clear mascara container, it doesn't seem to work as well.

Long, full lashes run in my family... all three of my kids inherited mine. I took my youngest to the eye doctor and he told us that my son had an extra row of lash follicles (this came up because my son complained about irritation).As such, I'm not looking for anything that elongates or thickens. I just want something that darkens what I have and is capable of reasonably separating (no clumps!). This is the only product I've run into that gets the job done. The brush is by far the most usable. I've been known to wash them off and reuse them in another tube so I'm not stuck with a crappy wand. I need something that separates lashes without globbing on too much product. For awhile there was an even better, wider brush available but I haven't seen that version for several years.Also the product itself isn't too sticky or thick - thus forcing me to break out a clean lash brush to remove excess. I usually do 2 layers, one to get product on and a second pass to declumpify and add a bit of extra definition to the tips.I also don't like waterproof mascara because it's hard to remove without taking eyelashes with it! I prefer something that washes away mascara without forcing you to be aggressive with your eyelashes. This stuff comes off fairly easily, although sometimes I have to do 2 passes to get all the black off.The downsides are that it does tend to "raccoon" on you by the end of the day. I'm willing to put up with that considering how much trouble I've had with other brands. So if you have lashes that don't need a lot of enhancement - I'd give this a shot.

I have used this specific mascara ever since I started wearing mascara in middle school or high school. My mom always used it while I was a little girl, so it was my go-to from the start. I have tried many different brands, both drug store, and name brand, and have never been as pleased as I have been when using this one. Most "popular" mascaras leave clumps and women call it volume. This one gives me volume without clumping. I especially love the special shape of this applicator because is much simpler to use than the regular long one.

My job doesn't allow make up but I still want to look pleasant and neat so I ordered this product to keep my eyebrows n eyelashes in place at the same time makes it look fresh and polished. I even bought a MAC clear lipglass with this so it'll match.I gave this product a 4 because it doesn't really hold my eyelashes that long, let's say 2-3 hrs. only but holds my eyebrows perfectly. I get compliments on how my eyebrows looks so neat. This product have a very light smell and feels cool when applied. A good product for my needs with a reasonable price.

I took the liberty of applying this, going to bed, and waking up to see if it flakes all over my eyes, it didn't.The applicator has a lot of gel to it, scrape some off to avoid lash clumps, it will still clump to the wetness but not as bad as if you apply with the applicator filled with gel. This way you can play with the lash enough to get the perfect lift you need.I love the ease of application and love the little lift it gave my lashes. Heck, my hubby even commented during converse that he liked how my lashes looked, I told him it was clear mascara and he gave a stamp of approval so yea, good stuff right here.

I had used these clear mascaras years ago and decided to give them a try again. I use them for my eyebrows and eye lashes to lift, thicken and darken them. I don't like applying color to my eyebrows as they can look very unnatural. Clear mascara has always done the trick and can't mess up either. To my eye lashes, I use the clear mascara before applying regular mascara to prime my lashes first. Doing this first makes the mascara go on more smoothly and with little to no clumping. This is a great product, they do no clump and it cleans off easily. Love em!

The product worked as good as it should, but the mistake on my part was that it is too water based for my lashes. I have straight lashes and adding this mascara simply weighed down any curl or lift I have them. However, it worked awesome as a primer and an eyebrow gel. After applying this, I let it dry and gave my eyelashes an extra curl and then applied my normal oil based mascara and it worked wonders. Also, I noticed that using the clear mascara before using my heated eyelash curler also works; it makes my lashes look thicker and the heat makes sure my lashes stay curled once again. The brush is also really good, allows me to get into the inner lashes and also do my bottom lashes with no problem.
